Academy Conversion to LSEAT

 Following an Academy Order issued by the Department for Education in 2024 and agreement from the regional board this week, the school is now in the process of transferring into London South East Academies Trust (LSEAT), as mentioned in a letter to parents from the IEB on 7 Febuary 2025 (attached below).

This transfer marks the beginning of an exciting improvement journey for our school. LSEAT has an outstanding reputation for delivering significant school improvements, together with expertise in supporting SEND pupils – and is very much the right fit for Grove Park.

We are working closely with LSEAT, East Sussex County Council and the Department for Education to ensure a smooth transition. We are committed to working together to ensure that every child gets the care and support they are entitled to and deserve.
