This document sets out the East Sussex County Council’s current home to school transport policy for students who live in the county. Please see the attached documents relevant to your aged student. 

All current transport for students in Y11 will be ceased at the end of the academic year.

Parents can make an application using the link below, they should also be aware that transport for college/sixth form students are assessed under our post-16 transport policy which is very different from the statutory school age policy. At this age we ask for more information about the family circumstances and their wider support network before making a decision.

Parents are also required to pay for transport for this age group, further details regarding this are explained in the application form.
